Professor Eddie Shanqing Zhang won the Griffith Vice Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award
On 19 April 2016, Professor Eddie Shanqing Zhang received the Griffith University Vice Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award for Mid/Senior Career Researcher to recognise his outstanding achievements in the improvement of batteries.
The research team, led by Professor Eddie Shanqing Zhang has discovered an innovative way to create a new generation of batteries using natural sources with improved performance and cyclability, and lower manufacturing pollution.
This innovation was inspired by 16th century Chinese medicine.
