QCASE Honorary President, Professor Max Lu, was Named as AO

Professor Max Lu, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Surrey, UK,  the Honorary President of QCASE, was named as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) on the Australia Day 2017.

Professor Max Lu, former UQ Provost, was recognised for distinguished service to education, to national and international research in the fields of materials chemistry and nanotechnology, to engineering, and to Australia-China relations.
